Crazy things my customers have told me.

Was thinking about a customer that stopped in one time at my store. I had know this customer for years.

He was at a competitors a few blocks away and he had just left there. They had a boats similar to our brand. 

He said the salesman told him that I ran right rotation engines on my twin engine boats. AS anyone knows you never do that. You have Port and Starboard rotation engines.

Manufactures would not send you engines sets like that.

I thought wow, so that is how the competition works. My customer thought this salesman was an idiot and I would have to agree with him. I have seen that kind of salesmanship at boat shows. 

Advice, don't believe everything you hear.
